A couple has reached an undisclosed settlement in a divorce lawsuit in which the wife claimed that her husband had tried to poison her with arsenic.

Cristy Kaiser, 42, claimed that her husband, Louis Kaiser had been systematically attempting to poison her for three years since 2003. Her lawyer said that Louis, an industrial safety expert, had easy access to arsenic in his line of work. Louis Kaiser’s lawyer countered that Cristy had been addicted to pain medication and was twisting the truth.
